Karen Laksamana started working at Formations in 1997 while finishing her Bachelor of Science Degree in Fine Art and Graphic Design at Portland State University. She became co-owner of the company in January, 2006, mainly to keep Bruce in check. Karen has kept up her education by attending seminars and completing online training for software and for business and project management, as well as by keeping up with all the tidbits of knowledge that Bruce passes along from webinars and industry blogs. She is the creative lead at Formations and heads up all design projects, whether they are for print, web, or other digital media. In her free time, Karen volunteers for Furry Friends and is on the planning and technical committee for their annual fundraiser auction.
