New features and updates for your blog
5.2 will be a big update. EasyBlog has been working towards improving several features, adding new features, and improving the overall experience with our favorite blog software. We are getting ready for the many changes that are coming, and we want you to be ready to take advantage of great new features that are being added.
Getting ready for Joomla! 4.0
Joomla! 4.0 is in development and already being tested. EasyBlog will be ready to be compatible with Joomla! 4.0 with version 5.2: Your blog software will be ready for the Joomla! changes to the routing system and the new administration layout.
Interface changes
Creating your blog posts got easier with EasyBlog 5, and 5.2 will improve the user experience for all of us with an updated user interface.
We improvised several usability issues with the current composer behavior by simplifying the day to day operations in the built-in composer of EasyBlog, especially with the block menu. The block menu will no longer slide down from the top. Instead, it would be rendered on the right panel. Apart from these changes, we also refined several areas within the composing area for better user experience.

Cover photo captions
If you have ever wanted to ad captions to your cover photo, you will be able to do that soon.
Optimization
EasyBlog 5.2 will run "blazing fast" with the changes being made in this update.
